Even though I was sucked into this single-player game (Red Dead Redemption 2), everything in the game looks like this: everything happened because it happened, and that is where my arguments stop. I thought that the game was not about the ability of a man to affect destiny, to make plans. It was more about the concept of the common good, which is different for everyone. “About how you are mad if you want it all now, and you have nothing to lose.” “About vulnerability of people to society’s influence that surrounds them.” “About where lack of fear can lead to.” “How people feel when they are in danger and are against everyone, like a pack of wolves. Arthur is a man who cares more about what he has now and how he sees the good for everyone. Saving some lives to him is not a good thing, but a duty, which you fulfill to not suffer in the future, or because you are attached to a family, which must be protected, so as not to feel like a betrayer, at least that’s how I felt the game. It badly uses its gameplay mechanics. It also lacks simplifications to avoid clogging the interface with unnecessary junk, which is a drawback of Ubisoft games.
